Competition Red Dually... wheels up!

I forgot to ask if anyone knew of a Dodge Ram Cummins with more power than the Kent Crowder/Scheid truck?

Just wondering... . ;)

Wait until a similar engine ends up in a dragster... then we can do some math and come up with a ballpark figure.

If you watch Kent's video, it sounds like you can hear the tires pealing out in the dirt just when he let's off the clutch. Impossible i know but still fun to laugh at. There is no doubt in my mind that that is the strongest Dodge I have seen video of, and I've seen TONS of them. ;)

I think it would be funny if someone built a truck for compition at Mitchell pulls, and threw one of these engines in it. They would have to start all over again! :-laf

Thanks for the clips Justin,

Andrew

Not completely Impossible buddy. If the dirt is hard enough, it can make the tires "squeel" just like on pavement.

You can hear the same noise at the end of the pull just before he pushes in the clutch.

We do'nt have too much dirt here in east Texas, just TONS of trees, so I wouldn't know! :p

The tire squeel thing... . done it. I can list the cars/trucks and the location if anyone wants to give it a try! It's a hard packed gravel/sand road here in MN... Isanti County to be exact. Right by Duluth Diesel's old stomping grounds.

12-cylinder pump on a 6-cylinder engine =

This is their inline version...

(Old picture, but you don't see many pictures of pulling tractors with their hoods popped... . )
