Forrest, while titanium is obviously heavier than aluminum, My understanding is that the added strength it provides allows more material to be removed in more places on the wheel, allowing the weight to come down and more creative cuts, which allows for better airflow characteristics. I don't think the ti wheels end up lighter than the aluminum, but not necessarily much heavier. Hey Joe, this charger is a real hoot and makes a ton of hp, and I have been driving it around on the street a bit, but with your rock crawling, big tires and heavy truck, you would likely want something that spools a bit earlier.

Craig

had my hands on a couple mack wheels yesterday... one ti, one aluminum... looked exactly the same otherwise... the titanium had more meat dug out of the back of it, but that was just a factory wheel. I would assume that you could cut out a good deal more, so yeah, you're probably right.

they're bad little babies though... it's fun to hit 'em w/ the blaster and watch sparks shoot off of 'em :p

No money for those, and what needs to be done for twin capability. I'll be pushin' the stock head gasket enough with the new injectors and B1. Sure would be nice though, maybe when the gasket finally goes, I'll coinsider them.

I hear ya there... I just took the money I would have spent on a B1 and am building my own setup... even then it's a decent chunk of change and even more work.

one of these days I'll get them on...

Interesting stuff Matt. Is ATS selling that 5000 setup for the Dodge? If so, I wonder how the price compares to the pro 52.

The 5000 for the dodge is available, they list right around $2400. It comes with a complete intake and downpipe. So not really much more than a B1 at 1800, when you consider you are getting an intake with it. The one we had went on an 03 and it spooled real well.

They give you a new intake manifold with the 5000? Or am I misunderstanding what part of the "intake" you are refering to?

I would assume maybe the new ATS intake? I had thought I remembered reading somewhere that the ATS aurora 5000 came with a ATS exhaust manifold?
