This is a true story:

I have a guy doing some logging here on my land with an old skidder. Yesterday I drove by and saw his CD Ram with the hood up and some hoses snaking to the big skidder... .

Yep, he has some quick connect hoses on his 12V water loop that match up to the water loop on the skidder. He told me he unplugs the coiled up loop on his Ram, runs the lines to his skidder, kicks up the idle and waits awhile. The heat transfers to the cold skidder and it starts right up.

Pretty cool idea, wonder if I can figure out how to crossconnect to my wifes suburban so my ESPAR and heat both trucks... #ad

Or maybe I could install an old fashioned radiator in the bed of my truck to keep it toasty off the ESPAR. . hmmm all with quick connects... #ad

Happy new year to ALL!!

My dad used to warm his drag car up like that. push it off the trailer and hook it up to the pickup(a rare 1980 D350 crew cab lol) and the car woudl be at opperating temp in no time. Which as you all know is alot easier on all the engine components. He for some reason quit doing it not sure why. So yes i have seen it

This setup is used a lot in ag operations. When it is -25 and you have to run you just plug in the radiator hoses from the pickup to the tractor, or combine portable heat!!!!!!! #ad

I wouldn't suggest trying this with other brands of rigs other than big equipment - Ya might over load the cooling system of said vehicle #ad
