sound will a tip down sound different than a stright out??

what I mean is my system is real loud... espicaly wen pulling...

will a tip down change it at all

Straight will be quieter in the cab. A turn down facing down will cause the sound to echo back up under the truck or if turned to the rear, off the trailer. A turn down is especially noticeable when pulling a fifth wheel. Also, if the tip is not completely sticking out from under the body of the truck, it will echo in the fender well.

A muffler will quiet it down for sure...

FWIW, when I did the MBRP install, I also put the turndown tip from Genos on.

I havent noticed any difference in noise.

I did cut 5" off the stock pipe so the tip sits where the end of the stock pipe used to.
