Excavator strikes bridge overpass

The creek that runs through my dads place is the same way, I saw a big excavator down there one year. This ground actually has water sitting on top of it. He had 20x30 wooden "rafts" that has chains on them that he could drag around with the bucket, thats how he got around. Those rafts were sinking about 3-4 inches when he put the full weight of the excavator on them.

I learned several years ago not to operate a dozer on ice on sidehills. I slid down a deep gully in a water shed area above a river behind my house and I literally had to change my pants when I got crawled back to the house. I thank God everyday for giving someone the intelligence to invent seatbelts and ROPS.
