excessive crank before starting

My 2005 5. 9 with g56 6 speed was giving me fits with excessive crank before start. The problem was intermittant since the truck was new. Mopar said they were working on the problem and for me to keep checking with dealer. After almost 2 years the fix is out on tsb 18-003-06 and I think they finally got it right. They had an issue with the duel faced fly wheel and the crank position sensor. The TSB reflashed the ecm.





2005 Big Horn 5. 9 , 3. 73 G56 6 speed. Oo.

Is ther a link to the tsb? I would like to see if it is relavant to my '03 problems.

DE Jeeper I think this only effected the dual faced fly wheel for 2005, but it be worth checking with Mopar.
