Excursion hoses

This is for you guys that have an excursion. I purchased the two orange hoses that come off the turbo and feed into each side of the engine. These are located on top of the engine. I was told that I need to replace the clamps as well as replacing the hoses. If I don't replace the clamps I was told I could blow the hoses off under a load. Have any of you done these hoses and if so did you replace the clamps also?

The problem is not the clamps,but the oil that gets into the ford cac system.

Mr Bobs distributing is making fluorocarbon lined hoses for them to prevent that very issue

BOB, what is ford cac system? This is my first powerstroke and am not familiar with or have even heard of the cac system. I just pulled the hoses and there was some damage on the ends of them. The clamps are just basic 4" clamps.

Cac= charge air cooling all of the boosted and cooled intake air system
