Exhaust Brake "05"

Hey Fellas,



I got my 4'' inline PacBrake installed last week and used it for 20 miles or so, everything was good.



Then after I came to a stop and went to take off I had no low gear in trans, seems like it takes off in 3rd gear? Then got code PO868 and it reads many things.



Checked all fluids, install, wiring, connections, Etc. and all seems correct. When I turn the switch off on PacBrake everything in the trans works correct.



This is really weirng me out here, besidides taking all of my time trying to find a solution to this, any help or sollution would be great.



Truck is an 05

Who installed your PacBrake? Whoever installed it must have hooked up something incorrectly. Only thing I can think of is to the ECM. You may want to talk to whoever you purchased it from.

Just to make you feel better, I have a 05 with the Pacbrake, on a 48RE it works great, I would hate to tow without it.

I have an '05 with the PRXB and 48RE. I agree with Ron, I would not tow without it either.

Wanted to say thanks to the tech staff at PacBrake, for working with my mechanic and I. It helps when you plug the electrical in correctly. #@$%!
