Exhaust brake a factory option?

I was at the Woodstock Fair in CT last weekend, and the fellow at the Dodge tent said that the Jacobs exhaust brake will be a factory option. Anyone else here this?



As for the engine noise, he started it up, and although it is quieter, there is no mistaking it for a diesel. The guys who are comparing it to a gasser are exaggerating, IMO.



One more thing, has anyone see a website with prices for the '03? I can't find one. Thanks.

Two months ago I went on DC web site, looked around and left.

The next week I received a big packet of info on 02 Dodge Trucks.

No $500 coupon, but there was a Dodge Accessories Catalog from Mopar for 2002. In the back of the catalog option number 55 is DIESEL EXHAUST BRAKE. For Ram 2500/3500 Models, no picture shown, no mention of manufacturer only a price of $675. 00.

I am waiting on automatic before ordering let me know what your dealer says.
