Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Exhaust brake compatability ?

I have a '98 Dodge 12 valve, 5 speed manual trans. with a California EGR valve. I plan to put a Pac Brake on and hear that it may not be compatible with EGR. Is there a way to do this and have it work right?
