exhaust brake for 2004 1/2 automatic

The Dodge dealer in Eugene installed a Pacbrake system on my 2004 1/2 automatic transmission truck and it seems to be working fine. Articles I have read in the register seem to indicate that dodge hasn't approved exhaust brakes for this model. Please clarify. Thanks

yours won't have the Dodge factory warranty on the auto transmission. The '06 will have factory warranty on the auto with a Jacobs EB. JIM
