Gooseneck In Short Bed

Put a BD unit on mine as soon as I got home from the dealer. Nobody mentioned that the warm up to operating temp in the cooler months but it get you there much quicker. I almost never use my service brakes. Whomever's you invest in, they are worth it.

BSwope - I notice you got the G56 like I do... just curious is all. Have you really noticed any time where you really needed an Ebrake?

I just picked up my G56 and boy 1-4 are pretty low. I know an ebrake takes the heat of the transmission, but, I'm contemplating whether I would really use an ebrake or not, due to the gearing.

"Need" depends on how you use your truck IMHO. When I tow tandem over I 70, I always use my Jake down the passes. 16k will push me into redline with the Jake on in 4th gear going down the west side of eisenhouer. And I have 4. 10s.
