I used Bob V's Super Shifter kit for my exhaust brake actuation. It's the black switch on top of the knob. The red one on the side is for Auto / 4x2 selection.

Thanks Dresslered!

Looks like a nice install. I'm kind of split between the BD and the Pac. I like the spring loading of the BD, but I think the direct connect to the ECM will win out in the end.

Diesel Freak, I did my best to translate this for the web site. Let me know if you have any questions.

My BD has been trouble free for two years with constant use. Talking about the switches, mine came with a throttle switch. Being a 97', I don't need to tie into no ECM. The throttle switch comes out of adjustment every so often but it sure beats using the switch on the stick. I believe one of the other brakes has a clutch switch as well. That's been on my list of things to do but I have a long list so someday... FWIW, I have a pressure guage that monitors my brake pressure. If you like guages, it's a nice addition.

You guys have all missed the best E'brake on the market IMO. The Decelomatic out of AZ. This brake is true slide valve, No butterfly in my exhaust. It has a manually operated bypass around the brake so I can run what ever pressure I chose with the slick Morris control beside the seat. I have micro switches set up on the throttle and clutch. I turn it on as I start down the hill and just adjust the control to maintain the speed I want. None of that annoying on/off stuff. I put 150000 miles on it in my 94 and have about 30000 miles with the same one on my 2000. (My brother still hates me for taking it out before I sold him the 94. It does require an air system but so does my suspension.
