exhaust brake with aftermarket exhaust

will the eb on 08 6. 7 work the same with any aftermarket exhaus with deletes???

Yup. I've deleted the DPF and EGR and I'm running a 4" turbo-back AFE exhaust and the exhaust brake works like a charm.

Yes, I too am deleted and using a 5" TBE from MBRP. The exhaust brake when idling and using the brake to stop will sound different from stock. MY truck sounds more like a jet air plane with the exhaust brake on and high idle engage. It has a high pitch whine.
