Is there any way to wire my Pac Brake into my ECM like the newer ones are?I drove one this pass weekend and really like the way it operates. I guess I'm getting lazy ,but I like to cut it on and leave it. Know what I mean Vern?

Did you call Pac Brake? I am sure that they now have a computer control similar to my Banks Brake that warms the engine etc. SNOKING

If PacBrake can help you, you will still need to reflash the ECM. The ECM on your 1998 1/2 model year has pin #20 available for E Brake activation/de-activation but does not contain the required software. A new calibration must be loaded into the ECM.

This will mean that any software added to the ECM for performance will be lost, right.

I had Dr. Performance turn it up in 2000 and he reflashed the ECM then. He told me to not take both batteries out at the same time that if they were out for 5 min. or more I'd loose the upgrade. What is your thought on this?

I have no idea.

Thomas... ... ..... would you happen to know if this reflash applies to 98. 5 automatics? In the instructions it mentions pin 20 if you want ECM control. And how well does it work?

TIA,

Smarty?

I am not sure if helps, But I'd PM Bob Wagner to see if SMARTY and/or Catcher would have the Software for Perfromance and Pin 20. ;) Moose00
