Miscalculation

So, what do I need?

I just purchased the PacBrake and will be installing it as soon as I receive my new ATS manifold. The other manifold shrunk, so to avoid damage, it's being replaced. Any pointers on installing the brake that could make the job easier/more reliable? Any experience would be appreciated. I'll be installing both myself.

I have done a 96 and a 97 and its pretty straight forward job. It helps to have a helper when re-attaching the down pipe to the brake. Both of mine were BD brakes and attaching the bracket to the throttle pedal was prolly the hardest part of the job.

I appreciate the reply, as it is always good to hear from someone who has done it before, so there are no surprises. I don't need to remove something an all I see is flying ball bearings and springs! I guess the buddy for the exhaust pipe is probably the one under the truck to hold it up in place?
