I am running a BD Exh. brake, with 60lb exh valve springs, mounted right on the turbo. It's a 2nd gen brake fitted to a 2nd gen down pipe. It has worked without any problems for 10 years now. One of the things it has allowed me to do is eliminate the 2 90 degree bends on 1st gen down pipes with the 45 degree 2nd gen down pipe - for better exh gas flow. The in cab switch is shift mounted coupled with a micro switch activated by the VE throttle linkage. My service brakes trippled their life by extensive use both towing and non towing. My only complaint is that the small BD sticker on the handle of the in cab switch is worn out.
