Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Exhaust brakes

Anyone know if an exhaust brake might cause a turbo to blow by, leaving a slight film on the compressor side?

Film of what? Shouldn't be any blowby if the seals are good.

Sorry... Thought there wouldn't be any question about what kind of film... Oil... & the reason I asked the question is I'm wondering if the seals are going, & curious if the exhaust brake might be helping the failure.
