Well, my Stainless (what I thought would last forever) has finally gone toes up. The pipe broke in a couple of spots and I've got a broken rear hanger. Here is my dilemma though, do I try to fix my current exhaust which is just the stock pipes (3") and no muffler or do I go with a new 4" system with a muffler????

I keep thinking that I could take the muffler off it hurt my EGT's at some point but I'm loking for some input. Any opinions???? hehe

PS. 650 more miles until I roll 400K :D

I would shoot for 5" stacks, if you dont like stacks go fot the 4" turbo to tailpipe, there are a few good ones out there.

congrats on the 400k :)

cheers, Kevin

If you go with the full 4" system, no need to spend $$ on stainless. There are some good aluminized steel ones for 400 give or take.

Bob W, How loud is the Rips 4"inch exhaust with the muffler, does it have a good low down grunt, or is it pretty quiet? I want a good noticeable low down tone, but without the hall affect in the cab. THANKS:)

I GOT THE SAME PROB.

Today I put some new shocks on my 95 and found a huge hole in the exhaust. will go with a new exhaust 4 or 5 inch stainless or aluminium? Need to see what the gurus say. This will have to be done within the week. I head for a long trip next week.

Cheers

Chuck

I have been doing a lot of looking and I really like the dual system (so I can see smoke from both sides) from ATS; however, the price is outrageous.

Does anyone know of another company that sells a dual system???

OUCH $1300 bucks is a bit steep.

THey do look good though.

wonder if the performance is any better that the rapid flow BD

Cheers

Emerald5. 9 Rip's 4" system is very throaty, deep tone and :D

Rip is redoing his 4" system on his truck and exiting the muffler he will have a split y into (2) 3" pipes for a Rip dual system

Picture to be posted ;)

Talk to Rip he is one funny guy
