did you use the RPMoutlet Motoblue 4" Downpipe Aluminium..... $100. 00? Seems reasonable but really don't know anything about it.

nope, I used the 04. 5+ factory cast elbow with 4inch outlet.

BUT, for $100, if eliminates that elbow, thats not too bad a price at all!

Do you have the part number ? I would like to make my 2003 have 4" exhaust from the turbo back. That down pipe and a new muffler I would be all set. Thanks

well, I just ordered the downpipe from RPM outlet, because the factory part was $500 with tax :--)

WOAH, thats not right... I mean that parts guy you talked to did not look up the right part...

I sold quite a few of those elbows for $20, as will most of the Exhaust brake vendor here on the TDR... . (because the elbow comes off during install)

well, I can always send the RPM outlet downpipe back. Tomey- do you have any in stock? please let me know when you get a free minute

thanks

anyone know the part number for the 4 inch exhaust elbow (between the turbo and the downpipe)?

thanks in advance

Found this in my records:

elbow for the 4. 5-05 years 5161570AA $36. 00

4" downpipe for the 04. 5-05 52121600AA $65. 00

Clamp for the above 52121285AA $14. 00

Hey Tomey- Its all good here. Your 20$ elbow, new dp from the dealer 70$, SS cat delete pipe from DPP & 06 MBRP Cat Back SS Duals..... I am hooked up.

I took a little extra time to sandblast ALL the welds on the muffler/hangers and dp flange, painted same with Eastwoods SS exhaust paint.

All clamps are SS Fleetgaurd band clamps-(with the bolts at the top).

Very noticable SOP difference. EGT's empty never broke 900 pre T on a WOT hill climb. I cannot wait to hook to the boat or TT and see how it performs.

Anyways. . thanks for your help Tomey-if ever in Jersey-first rounds on me--Drew

Glad to hear all fit together good.

I like the way you can just piece a system together on the these trucks... Make for easy testing, and swapping to stacks, hint, hint

Over the winter, I hung a 325/600 cast elbow and a Magnaflow #15989 5" system. I dyno'ed my truck just this past weekend at Diesel Mania 2006 in Stanford, KY... ... . I went from 368/718 to 381/728. I've not had a chance to compare the two dyno sheets to see the exact areas of improvement, although it be a small amount. Hopefully it will come into play more with the Hot Juice Update and the SPS 62/12 later this summer.

Is the 325/600 elbow a true 4 inch or 3. 75? Also Tommy, are you still shipping these?

Full blown 4inch -- and I only had a few of them...

I might have one extra, But I have no idea where it is.
