I agree with Wayne M, Either plugged differential pressure lines or a defective differential pressure sensor. I don't think it's the filter or it would stay on. Also, the sensor could just be too sensitive and needs replacement

DPF stands for Diesel Particulate Filter, is the "differential pressure sensor" a joke that I don't know because I'm new to this forum? The differential is part of the rear end & has nothing to do with the exhaust system...

There are 2 tubes. They go to the Differential Pressure. Sensor from both fore and after the DPF. It tells the computer is the dpf is clogged. The greater the difference between the 2, the more clogged it is.

I thought this same thing at first, these guys are messing with me. But it is part of the exhaust system.

I'm going through this right now. When the temperature gets below 5* F (this morning it was below zero) I will either get the DPF is full or see the dealer because of exhaust system problems messaqge. Sometimes it will set a code, other times it won't. It comes and goes. I took it to my dealer and one of the diesel techs checked and it is the delta P sensor ("differential pressure sensor") that is bad apparently some moisture got in it and froze. This week I should have a new replacement installed. I have around 115,000 on her now.

Okay, thanks! I learned something new!

Interesting, I just got my 2017 out of a dealer in Indiana for the same issue, all they could do was update the programming for now...I put over 500 miles on today & no issues, but it wasn't as cold today, only 17°...Lol! Maybe I can get my local dealer to check that sensor...
