Exhaust Flange

Do any of you guys know where I can get the backplate for a 12cm wastegated exhaust housing? Or maybe even just the right size flange to weld to it? I made a backplate for the housing but I am having trouble trying to get the right size of flange. Seems the universal ones are all to big on the O. D. If any of you guys know where I can get a flange or a complete backplate I would appreciate it. Thanks

Do you have no backplate or one with a builtin elbow?If you have one with an elbow I can make a swap with you.

I have cut a backplate for it. I just need the flange to weld on to it so that I can clamp my exhaust downpipe to it. I dont quite understand what you mean by a "built in elbow". Thanks

The early 2nd gens had a flange like the 1st gens then an elbow clamped to it. The later ones had a 1 piece elbow and plate cast as 1 piece.

Oh okay I see what you are saying. But, no i don't need an elbow. I got a chunk of steel so I am just going to chuck one up in the lathe sometime. I am going to call holset tommarro and see what I can get a backplate for. Only bad thing is that they don't have part numbers on anything, just casting numbers.

The backplate should be availible fron Cummins. Try asking on the second gen forum for a part number. Someone may have some turbo parts as well.

I got ahold of the parts I need. Its one of those things where I have a ton of turbo parts but not the one I need. Thanks for the help.
