I am just wanting to know how mutch of a difference in sound is the 4" exhaust with no muff from the factory exhaust with no muff and resenator. And how different is the sound with 5" exhaust wnm from factory wnm. Just trying to decide what to buy, and i am young and wand that LOUD diesel sound :D So fill me in with some insite on this, and i am shure there is other people wondering this question to. Thanks Justin

To me, LOUD is subjective.

My 02 HO has removed muffler, with resonator still in place. It can be loud if I stand on it.

There is a guy at my firestation with an 02 HO and he removed both his muffler and resonator. In my opinion, it is very loud. I can hear him for a mile. No one would ever think his truck is quiet.

Before buying anything, why not have your stock system modified? My local shop charged me $35 to replace the muffler with 4" straight pipe. For another $25 he would have done the resonator too. You might like it.

Allready done

I have allready done the res and muff removed:D But I want some big exhaust and louder. Ok I am becoming a bombaholic:-laf :-laf And I want some smoke to come out of that big exhaust to:D Does eney body else second me:confused: Justin

Have you ever heard your truck from the outside?? If not have a friend get on it as he/she goes by. You'll probably be very surprised how loud it really is.

Cant do the stacks.

Sorry cant do the stacks. I paid to mutch for this truck to put 6" holes in my bed. I think some big 5' exhaust out the back will turn some heads. Eney how can eney body answer my question from the first post????? thanks Justin
