exhaust housing interchange question

Hey all

Here's the deal. I think i can get my hands on an hx35 for cheap. It has a 14cm wastegated housing, can I swap just the exhaust housing onto my hc1 or will I need to use the whole thing? Is the compressor side better than what I have? The reason I ask is this, it's been sitting around a while and most likely needs a rebuild to use. So you see, I'm cheap and would like to use my current good, fully functional turbo with the other exh housing. Let me know what you think.

Yes it will bolt up to your h1c. 14 wastegated runs new I think $375+-. Only thing, you will need to trim your downpipe some since the snail of the 14 runs back farther than a 16-21.

Rebuild kits are cheap. < $100. And you can upgrade the compressor side fairly inexpensively as well.
