I would be happy with a quality 3rd party bolt on muffler replacement. After looking at my factory set-up the Muffler looks like the only POS in the system. I tow so no I am not going to straight pipe it.

As I've mentioned before in other threads, I have a Mack muffler that I'm gonna put on my truck as soon as I get some time and nice weather. It is 4" straight through. My cousin put one on his and it sounds great and improved throttle response. $75 for the muffler, plus clamps, etc.

My 04 already sounds like a big rig from inside the cab,(all stock). I have no idea why, but sounds good. However, I have absolutely no idea what it sounds like from the outside
