Exhaust info

Need some help from you more experienced dieselists out there. Have a 99 2500 w/5 speed transmission. Been considering an aftermarket exhaust system but not sure which one would work best. Have been looking at the Banks system and would like to hear from anyone who has experience with it along with any recommendations. Also, interested in exhaust brakes.

What modifications have you done? As you will find out here just exhaust alone won't yeild any noticable performance increase,if you have extensive mods it will get your EGT's down. Other than that it just sounds cool,witch if thats your goal you can loose your factory muffler and put in a single chamber muffler,or leave if out altogether!

I have the banks exhaust......

and am happy with it. Is there a reason that you want stainless? You can save money buy going to alumnized steel exhaust kits. But then you go with the stainless and you won't ever have to buy another exhaust again.
