We need to replace the exhaust manifold on our '01 3/4 ton. Does anyone have any recommendations for a replacement? The truck is totally stock right now.

Thanks,

Diane and Tony (DAT racing - '73 Plymouth Duster Bracket Car)

ATS Makes a 3-piece replacement manifold. It costs around $400-450, but will never break again. It does not give you any real performance increase (maybe 1 Hp at most).

I think you can get the stock ones for around $250 from the dealer, but I could be wrong.

I just installed a BD 3 piece last night, it wasn't a bad job, couple hours. It looks like a nice piece. It was about $400

Any of the aftermarket 3-piece manifolds are good choices. The thing you have to worry about is price. The two that seem to be on top of their game are BD and ATS, but, I bought mine 4 years ago from Industrial Injection. I since then have put 125,000 miles on the truck without one problem.
