exhaust noise

hey guys i have a question

i recently installed a JRE exhaust and now when the truck is at idle the actual pipe has a low pitched humm (some kind of vibration) directly behind the cab... this may be normal i am not too sure... it's just that small unplaced noises drive me crazy #ad


anyway i appreciate any help you can give me

The noise is commonly reffered to as "Drone"
happens with a lot of exhaust conversons. Check out http://www.epiflex.com for some solutions on fixing this problem. It can be done for less, but these guys sell the best.

Do a search for DEAF IN SEATTLE by me back about 9 or 10 -00. Might work for you, it has for several.

Some trucks drone and some do not--- it's a pig in a poke whether a truck will or will not. Even some w/Banks stainless do it.
EDIT: The rpm and drone will change when further bombing increases power. Boxes and injector changes will greatly affect the frequency and rpm range of the drone.

I have the Jannetty kit, mine has a slight drone, but i got used to after a week. It will actually decrease a little over time as the exhaust is coated with carbon.

Just wondering if the Jardine system has the "drone" also?
