hey guy, I'am looking at putting geno's muffler eliminator on, do anyone know if the resonator is full flow, are do anyone have some pic's of resonator. I would like to see some pic's of it if anyone has them. thanks
I just had my muffler removed & the guy that did it, said that there is a "plate" in the resonater that has a ~2 1/2" - 2 3/4" hole in it that the exh has to go through. I was not able to run out of here to go & check it out or I would have snapped a quick shot of it.
Do not remove the resonator if you are going straightpipe. The drone is really loud in the cab with nothing there. Remove the mufler and leave the resonator and you get the best of both worlds, a reasonable cab with good noise outside and a free flowing exhaust good for ~350HP.
I took mine off and put it back 3 weeks later because of the horrible drone.
