exhaust system

can anybody tell me if changing the exhaust has any effect on the computer does it need to be reflashed 06 dodge 3500 diesel

Nope. I put on exhaust on my uncles and cousin's 06's and no problems.

thanks according to console readings mileage has gone down not what i expected trying to emprove it

The console is not very accurate. The best way is to fiqure it out is the old fashion way Miles driven divided by Total gallons added. On my truck I did not see any improvement in milage. EGT's were better after I installed it. My stock system had rusted out and needed replacement. My uncle added a smaty jr and has the fuel economy tune downloaded and reports about 1. 5 mpg improvement. I was surprised to see such a gain since it is a farm truck and gets used to pull gravity boxes and trailers about 75% of the time.

I saw no change in mileage (or performance) when I put my exhaust system on. EGT's dropped about 50*, but that was probably more related to the fact I deleted the catalytic converter.
