Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Exhaust tech questions

Folks, I'm going to have a local shop put a new 3" 304 stainless exhaust on my truck and I want to make sure he has the right parts before he starts.



What is the size of the pipe coming off the turbo? I have the 16 cm housing. What part does he need to get to adapt to the turbo? Or should he just fit the new pipe to slide over the pipe that is now coming off the turbo?



Once I get this done, I will report on it. The guy's in Edinboro, Pa. and the price is great - $325 for all 304 SS including the straight through muffler. Perhaps anyone in western Pa might want to get a system from him.

Naw, he can only do 3" maximum. I was hoping for 4", but I should be fine with 3 for my hp. If I go bigger, I can just get another 3" and have two.



Lots of 4" food-grade pipe around here at work - miles of it! all capable of high pressure steam.

Naw, this is a fat plant. Beef tallow, lard, and vegatable oils. We cook it, split it, hydrogenate it, and distill it. Then you guys eat it!:--)
