My exhaust temps run hotter with smarty then they do with my comp box. I can pull hills faster with cooler exhaust temp with the comp box. I thought the smarty was supposed to run cooler exhaust temps????? I have ran the smarty on three different trucks with the same results. Don't get me wrong I like the smarty just wondering if there is something that could done to help exhaust temps... Marco??? Bob???

What settings are you running the Smarty on?

If you are on the even numbered settings and the COmp is off, I would expect higher exhaust temps. Simply turn the box on to any level and get the timing back.

Or use the odd numbered programs for the added timing.

My truck runs at about the same EGTs as it did with the Edge box and no Smarty.
