Looking for a Turn Down that will slip over factory tailpipe. Tired of cleaning soot off the fender after a long haul. Dont see any listed at genos anymore.

If you exhaust is stock? which i dont see one in your sig, its just 4'' pipe so you should have some options i know mbrp makes one that you clamp on and silverline makes one too i think:)

A couple months ago I purchased the turn down tip from Geno's. It fit fine over my factory tip and really helps keep the soot off my fender. The latest Geno's catalog has the turn down tip listed on page 26. Part # ANSA TK4012TDB

I had a turndown on my '98 for a while but found it blew up dust in campgrounds with unpaved roads. On my '06, I got a 4" Megs extension w/ just a slight angle from Geno's. I had to trim a couple of inches off the pointy end of the stock pipe, then it slid on tightly and after a few days was basically frozen in place. I've had no soot on my fender or bumper since.

As said above, recently added the 4" Stainless "Silverline" turn down tip (12" long, bolt-on) to mine because of soot getting on the white rear corner. At first I didn't care for the appearance because I wanted it to look as close to stock as possible, but it kind of grows on ya. I like it now. NO more soot problem at all. It probably wouldn't look good if your tailpipe is at a downward angle though. Mine is almost level and the very tip is at about 1/2 to 2/3's of the rear tire tread out. Will try to post a pic soon.

FWIW, I had the same problem on mine and got the turndown from Geno s and am happy with it.

Had to cut the stock pipe a little to get it to sit at the stock location but that wasnt a problem.

Guys my secret to removing soot (Being I have a white truck that smokes at a constant) is "Honda Pro" (Actually is called Pro Honda) cleaning wax. And looks like

Everyone and their mom tries to make a knock off of the stuff and nothing cleans like the origional. NO I DO NOT work for honda just passing on a detailing secret.

It origionally was for their F1 cars that removed burnt rubber/tar and bugs that would raise the coefficient of drag. When pitting a quick wipe and the junk was removed and a silky smooth waxed finish left behind. . . . . and that was in the early 80's

I got a turn down tip from Geno's and found it works well. I did need to shorten the tailpipe by a few inches which was accomplished with a recipricating saw with a metel blade installed.

yea, that stuff is the best. I used to work at a motorcycle shop and used about 4-5 cans of it a day  and at 10 bucks a can, well you do the math :-laf. but I also made that company bookoohs of money because some of the trade in crotch rockets were beyond filthy. Im talking tire tread all over the back from burnouts, grease, grime, just about anything it took off.
