exhaust to loud HELP

Installed my new exhaust and it's just to loud at 2100 to 2400 rpm. With an auto this is just to much to handle. I KNOW that I should have asked first but I thought that adding a muffler to a 5" would be less noise than a straight piped 4". Can some one please help I'm going deaf and crazy. What muffler do I use with this 5" to stop the noise. Oh sorry its a 04. 5 at 500 hp to the ground thought this would help but no, it's a MBRP system Thanks!

i just stright piped my diamond eye 5", loud as all get out, but if i stick the muffler back on no drone under load or on hills. try a donaldson muffler. might work. fill out your sig too. so we can see what your rollin with. (and im blind for not seeing the MBRP in the first post. sorry)

A 51" donaldson would do the trick.

I second that get the big donaldson from a heavy truck parts place do a search on it to find the right PN. I have 4" on mine a little louder than stock but no drone and not obnoxious.

My 2 cents... I had great luck when I straight piped my 04. 5 dually back in 05... sounded perfect... sold it and now bought a used 06 and did the same thing, replaced the muffler with a 4" flex pipe and those really good clamps... this truck was too loud, so I spent the next 4 hours repacing the muffler...
