Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
I was looking in to getting the 4 inch exhaust off the group purchase page, and started thinking. I will probably have to cut up the stock exhaust to get the new one in there. So I decided that I would see if I could save myself the $425 and see how loud the exhaust would be if I just cut it off in front of the cat. So that is what I did. Let me tell you it is so loud. I think part of it has to do with the fact that the exhaust now exits right under the passenger seat. I did not really notice any performance gain but it does seem to have lowered the EGT some. And the turbo noise is very evident.
I think now I will either put a muffler on the end of pipe and a turn down or buy a set of ear muffs and hope that everyone that lives around me doesn’t mind. (j/k)
What muffler should I use?
