Greg,
 Are you all thumbs or something? Are all the letters on your keyboard in their proper location?

And the purpose here on exotic parts- a pic with who is that- yanks? Really though try using the spell check.

What is this lets compare engines? I don't care about some customers engines from raymac- I have better things to do than to look at your- if it is run it's ready to crack cylinder head.

Tell ya what why don't you come up to N. J. in Sept for the Diesel Nats- TRAILER that plastic up here- Don't worry about getting thru the pits to go to the staging lanes- I'll tow your plastic there for you- and when you done wasting my time I'll tow you back to your spot in the pits. But be careful I don't slow down for bumps !

Anyone wanna take bets on how much air a Pickle Chassis gets over some speed bumps:--)

That’s not RAYMAC but the race shop where I run, or ran my comp program out of; it’s also the home of the infamous head porter “BURT". Burt is a secret that has been keep a log time, He is a great head porter, and is working on my new head design. The motors in the back ground are Kirk Manuel’s the guy that owned my comp team. And has a sweet tooth for max wedge, and hemi’s. The race shop is tucked away at a secret location at one of his 11 dealerships in the DFW area

its a deal, I need a tow rig to the line , I bet you AC even works

keep talking like that and Ill make you drive it , after you first 1. 18 60' and 3 G' launch you will be hooked on G force

Greg,

What cams can you run without fly cutting the piston??

I remeber we talked about it awhile ago and you are running a cam that requires the pistons to be cut.

I milled the head 5 thou to get it flat and then used Haisley's studs and rings. (stock thickness HG)

Can I get a cam that will allow me to run un-cut pistons??

Scott,

I was hoping I would be the first one to come up with a trans brake (at least for the 47RE). Good luck with the testing. Please share on how much it improved your times. I am sure you will see tremendous improvements.

O ya, I almost forgot the pics...

I got a way late start today. I was busy at my day job getting a bid out.

I got it pulled and finally fixed the case leak on my T case. No more diaper wrapped around it :D

The VB machine work is not quite complete. We are going to work on it tomorrow and hopefully have it in and working by monday.

Careful there Greg- I wouldnt suggest that you let me do that(drive it). Doc might want to make some driver changes- :-laf :-laf !!

Think Doc would mind if after I make a pass, I cruise on down to 7-11 for coffee and doughnuts? Oh! That's right- Doc's *truck* can't *do* that-:{ ! And sorry no creature comforts for you in my truck- I removed the A/C ages ago- I still have the stereo though- Do you like LOUD music, LOUD HEAVY MUSIC? I like to keep some older Pantera loaded up in the old CD Changer to keep the juices frosty. :D

And you can tell ol Doc I won't be sittin' at the line like this:eek: - staring at the tree!!

I'll be like this:D at the big end!!

:-laf - funny though- you showing pics of engines that are not even yours. Nice 572's- (4. 50Bore/ 4. 50Stroke)-:p

And Greg-
We have a sweet tooth just like Kirk- I convinced one of my buddies to put his Hemi into a station wagon(64 Belvidere) !! Yup- Station Wagon- he wanted to put it in one of the Furys, but the more he thought of it the more it grew on him, so now he say's that the wagon is the most fun on 4 wheels- 572" Hemi Rat Roaster that drives on the street... . Chews up Vettes- and spits em out! Flat hood too, no scoops or holes in hood very undercover til the pedal gets mashed!! I tried to talk him into putting an empty refridgerator box in the back for even more fun on the laugh factor... ... . :-laf

Although my buddy wasnt to keen when I showed up with the 'ole grey haired' wigs for even more fun factor effects :D !
We joke about it calling it Grannies car- 'Hey can I borrow your Grandmas car?' has a different meaning up here in Jersey... ... ... ... ... Oo. :-laf !!!

I would like to thank Jetpilot(Doug) and DavidTD for the conversations we had! Thanks guys! I could bench race with you guys for hours!!! And thanks for the info!!

RD, I belive you've been smacked! :) At least it was open handed... ...

Now I need to call Jetpilot for that turbo special that is running right now. Mike

We have tested more than one version of this valve body from Clint at ATS, and each time, we have made great gains. It may still take a little tweaking, but today, getting the car warmed up, and checking it out in the driveway, all check great. We have done some 20-35 PSI Stalls agains it, and no issue.

Sunday we run at Bandimere in the Mopar event, and will lean on it and see if we can break it.

NHICE!!:--)

So after all this talk about how keeping secrets is holding the entire diesel industry back and not doing anybody any good you are now the one keeping secrets

[QUOTE

There are several guys out there making exotic parts. I have several names and numbers and would be happy to share them with you, but not on a forum. Why? Well they do not want their names/numbers posted on the internet (their choice). Its not a secret its just respecting their wishes.

That pretty much sums it up... ... [/QUOTE]

O. k. - so before you go and fly off the handle there- it's not at my wishes but my contacts wishes and the other peoples(contacts) demands!

My hands are tied! And I will not do anything to ruin MY chances at what i was told ?

That's the way they want it -that's the way it be! --Nuf said... ... ;)

 now be cool 'bout it!

If you spent as much time looking for parts as you do pecking on here, you woulda already found what you're looking for.

Give me a smack- and I'll smack ya back----

Besides- it's entertainment- no?

:-laf :p ! !

Sometimes you have to ask around for what you want- when what you want is not made public!!

:p Here keep your . 02cents... ..... :-laf !

Hoss-
It's so nice that you feel that way- !!
And I'm quite sure YOU have been keeping your lips shut about anything RACE related... .

and I never said anything about the 'ENTIRE Diesel Industry'- I said about the Diesel Motorsports Events, -!!
To include the ENTIRE DIESEL INDUSTRY would include everything from diesel generators to diesel ocean liners- now gimme a break... ... ..... .

And I have not seen any 'secrets' that has been posted with your name attached to it- so before you get critical about me- Look in the mirror @ yourself- but be careful- 'Objects in mirror are closer than they appear'... .

;) .

Let's see here now... ... .

On Saturday 5-14-05, Gregory did some editing on some of his postings.

Say Gregory, why did 'your little shop' suddenly get changed to "Burts" little shop?
see posts #'s 57 and 59. .

And when 'you' spent hours grinding and flowbench testing- why was that changed to "Burt" also?

So please tell me Gregory- Why was the post that you posted in the morning later changed in the afternoon? or rather- corrected?

And why are you posting pictures of engines that are-not even yours?

Why is it when you say "my comp team" first- and then mention the name Kirk Manuel as the 'owner' of the team- who's team was it?

Sounds to me like we have a case of pin-oh-key-oh..... :(
How's that nose stretching -fit in your class legal helmet... ... ... ... ... ..... ?:-laf

Do you care to continue these childish games?

 .

Burt is the head porter I choose to do the grinding, he deserves credit, it’s the only reason he help, is for the satisfaction, of doing some great work on the worlds fastest diesel. I can grind with the best of them, but he is much better, and smothers. I have never clamed to do all the aspects of any race program. Just be able to put together a program that will work. If you think what I have accomplished, is minimal, you have only to look at Edge and DD program, unlimited budget, and no results. The same is true of another program, but they don’t race my type of car ,and haven’t as of yet belittled me So I’ll leave them alone for now.

I race on other people’s money, why, because I’m that good at what I do. Not many people get asked to run a race program and drive a car or truck, or work with the OEM in a new to be announced deal, with out something being right.

Kirk Manuel owned everything I drove in comp with the exception of a few rides here and there. And you point is , to run in comp and do any thing more then be a joke , the anti up is about a quarter of a million , I ran and drove that program , to a 6th in div finish , I runnier up Memphis against some of the comp greats ,

Is you point nothing more then to try and pick any thing I say apart , if so one more attempt and your on ignore , and The last of the new stuff will be shared on here. I already have every one I need to talk , my attempt to give credit to some one that has helped and is a talented machinist and head porter , has become your crusaide to belittle me , oh well
