Competition Marysville Ohio Pull

Competition 799.96 HP Turbo

Here is an idea. TDR could start a page called "RacinDuallie" and "COMP461" pick at each other. Two separate threads started out with good ideas and you two just argue back and forth. ENOUGH!!!!! STOP IT!!!!! If you were my kids I'd send you both to your rooms with no dinner. Man, I would have loved to see if that 24 valve street head would have worked out. You could have had the thing on the market by now if the effort put forth in the fighting would be put into that idea. And I DONT CARE who's right or wrong, or who started it... ... ect. Oh by the way flame suit on right now. Sorry, I just couldnt take it anymore

Naw- that's o. k. no roomtime for me, It's impossible for me to stay serious when someone creeps into a thread that alot of people seemed to enjoy- that was started for the love of the Cummins Diesel Power, and their mere presence is like something silent and foul- then to have to deal with this infestation on another thread that was started for the same reasons I have had enough of it...
notice I have stopped posting my progress on the head? Why continue posting the information when EVERYDAY this infestation- continues to come in with the same crap on how he makes everything sooooo much better:rolleyes: , I would LOVE to continue on posting my progress with the head. But why ? The thread was getting tons of views but no comments or feedback - the only feedback I was getting there for awhile was from the infestation.

- Now it threatens me with putting me on ignore-

Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo.

- Why doesnt Gregory start his own thread on the forum and see how many people show up to enjoy his wisdom? Instead of invading another thread that a person is working to do something that is proving positive with the members- instead of taking the wind out of someones sails. Yes I could put him on ignore- but why when he'll just continue on with the self-back-patting on how he single handedly revolutionized the entire Motorsports world.
No he'd rather have a useless vote on everything and anything to do with The Wolverine, Then raid everyone elses threads and turn them into his own promotional tour.....

Something stinks and it's not coming from here... ... ... ... .

Why would anybody in their right mind post pics of engines that they don't even own on a thread about something entirely different?

Kinda looks to me like Gregory gets his jollies for trying to annoy someone doing something positive- what's the matter no one paying attention to Gregory- so Gregory has to go on any thread that is getting more attention than him and start with the *I* - *Me* -*My* crap- for what? attention?

Seems that anything with RacinDuallie attatched to it somehow attracts Gregory... . Maybe if Gregory stuck to himself and stop with the same crap that everyone knows he does- people would leave him alone too.

* * * * * * * *

Man, I would have loved to see if that 24 valve street head would have worked out. You could have had the thing on the market by now if the effort put forth in the fighting would be put into that idea.

I never stopped working on it guys- Should I continue on posting here?

Where was the responce ? other than Gregorys' selfless banter. It does grow old on everyone. Look what it made me do? I was enjoying posting the info and having positive feedback up until I was getting PM's with people asking questions behind the forum because they didnt want Gregory to Know- I wanted this on the forum not behind it- and then I seen for myself *why* people were asking behind the forum.

And I DONT CARE who's right or wrong, or who started it... ... ect. Oh by the way flame suit on right now. Sorry, I just couldnt take it anymore

I understand your pain... ... ... .....

Kinda reminds me of a cat that got on our site a while back. Never anything good to say, just digging at anybody that would let him. When he found a sore spot, like a cancer, there he went. Turned out out be one of our long time members under another screen name. After folks found out, he was baggered to leave. He did. Now RD. He's too foolish to know the difference. One of those "young guns", full of spunk. That's what I'll call it anyway. I know he's having fun, but it does not make for much enjoyable reading. And this on the compitition forum.

Greg... If you stop, he'll go away.

Oh- why should I go away? Yes- I am full of spunk and fire and desire. I do have fun catching *people* that have a case of 'flap-a-lip-pititous'. No T-Bo Thom-I'm NOT going anywhere... ... .
I have chosen to ignore the responce of the weak. I have quite a few tricks up these young sleeves. ;) . One never knows what *tricks* will pop up.
I figured I'd give it a chance, but the stupid continue about their ways.....

I feel sorry for a person that lives life that way, there has been quite a few members here on this forum that has contacted me with the responces of forget him- continue on with what your doing- don't pay any mind to him. And other things that I won't repeat here because I don't want to put any member out in the ring with him. Someones day will come- and with luck it will happen at one of our events- so the members will have something real to see happen before their very eyes... . (like I said-one never knows what *tricks* will pop up. )

I tried to downplay the stupidity- heck I even went out of my way to appologize for my end of the stupidity(I was sucked into the stupidity)- but even still the stupidity continued... .
For what I endured has made me stronger, wiser, smarter.

Seems to me you have to be careful what you read here on this competition forum. Select individuals like to provide *information* that really needs to be thoroughly investigated before attempting to do the same. I guess it's fun in someones eyes to *test* ones knowledge and patience. If you think I was getting all upset and angry and annoyed- your dead wrong.

And it was fun to expose someone for what they really are anyhow... ... .

One thing I am working on is more oil control inside the oilpan.

Has anybody seen anykind of custom or aftermarket oil pan? crank scraper, or windage tray?

I may be able to post a photo of ours as I will have it off tonight putting it on the new engine.

It is a cut down, 1. 5 gallon pan, with shallow sump, and a trap door to keep the oil in the short sump area. The suction tube is in the very back to keep it submerged during launch.

I thought about building a aluminum one, not only for weight, but more for heat dissapation to shorten our cool down between rounds.

I have built a new aluminum pan , its real close to my comp pan with less kick out , and a third as many bolts . the pan is done for a three stage dry sump , and this should keep the oil out of the way of the spinning crank. the pump I'm using should pull about 10 inches of vacuum I hope and fix ring seal .

I want to fabricate a swinging oil sump along with baffles to trap the oil, keep the sump submerged when under hard launches.

Scott your pan holds 1. 5 gallons of oil?

Dang know it all keyboard peckers. I bet RD opens a shop soon!

If I do I guess I'll need to take a class on being a people person- cause that's one thing I'm not..... :{ . (obviously)
Sometimes when I want to say the simplest thing- I somehow turn it all around and come off like an a**hole. :-{} and this is the result. Maybe I've been working in Manhattan too long? I don't know, but half the time I really should just not bother to type in a reply- to avoid this:-{} !! I don't mean for it to be that way it just comes off that way.

my favorite bumper sticker:
'Some people think I have a Bad Attitude,
Those people are stupid '. :-laf

IMHO, I have had more fun with New Yawkers and Joisey boys than anyone. They are truly the first Amurrricans. Now, yes they can be a bit abrasive, but you know where you stand.

So, back to the exotic parts list:

On the 7. 98 pass, here are the only non-stock performance parts:

Diesel Dynamics Cam

Buddha Power (John Russin) Prepped Pump (and way below his killer output pumps)

Flat Out Copper Head Gasket

Home Made Holset Turbos (stock parts, though)

My own valve springs

Yes, stock head bolts, pistons, valves, rods, bearings, and most everything else...

Yea- I've been coming off here on the forums a wee bit too abrasive, I appologize for that!:( From now on I'm gonna show some restraint in my postings- I'm not out to make enemies(although it seems that way- it's not!) I did start out way rough on a few fellows- that didnt deserve it and I should have read between the lines and seen that these fellows were only trying to help. I harbor no ill feelings towards anyone here or anyone that I have gotten abrasive with(or even downright nasty to). It takes a big man to admit his faults-I just hope that in the future no-one holds any ill feelings towards me... ... . :{ :{ . o. k. now I'm getting off my soapbox- head hanging down-soapbox tucked under arm... ... ... ... .

:)

Scott- I said it once and I'll say it again- That's way cool that with the little aftermarket parts you have on that rail it's dang amazing how far you have pushed the mostly stock Cummins engine!!!! 2 thumbs up high in the air- all the way from N. Y. C. (here look -I'm holding them above my head now for you guys!) Hopefully that new bullet that you guys are working on will be even better then before! I'm curious to see who's gonna be the first to 'crack' the 200mph barrier in the quarter with a Cummins Diesel, truthfully- I'm pulling for you guys Scott!!

Greg- Jeeez Greg, what can I say? I think if I was rough on anyone- it was towards you the most. After I sat back and went through the forum and seen all the back and forth B. S. that went on between us here through the keyboards- I can't blame your stance now. I really hope in the future we can mend what went on in the recent past... ... Competitive spirit? I think I have blasted that over the edge too far with you. For that I also extend my appologies to you. I really respect your competitive fire and desire, your willingness to share alittle bit of info here and there so I hope that after all this we can hold no bad grudges towards each other...

Preston- I went back to one of your posts and that was what made me realize that I was coming off the wrong way. So I just wanted to say THANK-YOU!
A wise man spoke- and I didn't listen! But I now see... .....
Preston, You ROCK!!;)

o. k. I'm off to my garage to sit and pray to the horsepower gods for forgiveness.
:D
Thanks for your time guys... . not one of my usual postings here- no b. s. this time so I hope everyone in the forum can see that I'll be making strong considerations on changing the way i come off. . and hopefully ya'll can see that-If not I just want ya all to know that I hold no bad feelings to anyone... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...

As a wiseman once said: A submerged whale never gets harpooned. One must be careful when you surface, as that is when you are exposed.

You're fine with us, and thanks for the comments.

Seems to me that once the free information stopped dually wants to make up with everyone kinda tells ya something about a person? just my fellings
