experience with Mor-ryde

Looking into having the axles replaced with a mor-ryde system on my 30 foot 5th wheel. Anyone have experience with this aftermarket set up or a factory installed one from a new trailer?

I have a more ride on my everest 5th wheel. Itis my first 5th wheel and I made a rather big jump from a 10' box popup. I have hit some decent size pot holes and there was very little shifting inside. but again I have never towed without them.

I have a 33' Titanium and have had the Mor-ryde after manufacture. Makes for a smoother ride. Might want to consider the Pin box as well. Have towed over 25,000 miles.

I don't know much about Mor-Ryde and am not criticizing the product.



If your trailer has Dexter suspension under it there is a new product just out that may be less expensive and works great. It is Dexter's new E-Z Flex. It is a nifty little dual rocker arm device that replaces the cast or stamped steel "equalizer" rocker arm located between the rear of the front leaf spring and the front of the rear leaf on tandem axle trailers. The E-Z Flex uses a pair of rocker arms on a common shaft that rotate and bump against a rubber bump stop. I had them installed recently on my new Hitchhiker. Young's Frame, the company that built the frame for my trailer and is located down the street from NuWa Industries in Chanute, KS installed mine. The bill was $268 for the pair including parts and labor.



They are standard equipment on all new 2008 Hitchhikers.



They work great. Combined with the Demco kingpin that was standard equipment on my HH it is the smoothest riding trailer I've ever pulled.

We put Mor/Ryde on our 38' Carriage tripple axle 10 years ago and are happy with it. Back then you could put it on your truck too and it really made a difference in the ride of our 96 Dodge. Any questions, just ask. We'll answer the best we can. Diana

I have a Montana 5th wheel with the Mor-ryde system on the axel--it tows smoother than the 5th wheel that I had before--I also towed a Dutchman that had the Mor-ryde on the axel and the hitch pin--a nice ride.

I have been considering the same thing on my fifth wheel, my rear kitchen gets reorganized whenever I hit a bump. Just yesterday I was talking to a friend who had the same problem and converted to MorRyde, he reported around $3000 for the changeover but claimed it was the best money he ever spent! I asked the company for a quote twice and they don't even respond to me, I was thinking of dropping by and having them do the switch for me. I have the Mor Ryde system on my truck, I love it (I think the previous owner told me it cost somewhere around $800 for the addition)

We installed a Mor/ryde pin box on our Cougar 290 this summer. A major improvement. Also looked into the mor/ryde axle, but found it too expensive to convert. Installed 4 Monroe RVGas shockabsorbers. Fabricated my own brackets and installed the works for about $125. It is a completely new ride. Ask my wife and dog!!!

Interesting that this came up now. I had considered the MorRyde axles earlier on, but never could find someone that had them. To my surprise an old friend three homes up and I were talking, he had them put on his! He at that time thought it was about $3000 for two axles and he considered it to be well worth it.

I emailed MorRyde 6 months ago to see about having a pair installed, and never even received the courtesy of a response, so never stopped by for more information. I have the MorRyde on my one ton truck and am very pleased with it, the previous owner had the pin box and was impressed with it. In addition to the axles complete, they also make a system similar to the Dexter product described below. I would be interested in price since the factory won't tell me.
