Extend a fender

Has any one tried the Extend a fender on their truck? If the pavment is the least bit damp, my truck look like I have been driving through mud for days. Was just wondering if the extend a fenders would help.

Don,I use Warn fender flairs,they work good for mud,fit perfect,are easy to install and look great too. Problem is they will set you back about $175 a pair.
