I was wondering if any of you guys are running extended control arms with just a leveling kit?

I'm going to build a set and I'm trying to figure out a good length. Hoping to get some measurements of actual built/used stuff to help me out.

My tires rub a bit on the inner fender by the doors, and I'd like to eliminate that before I install a set of fender flares (will probably run the flares).

I have a set of Carli's arms on the 3rd gen with 3" springs. I think they are about 1/2 over stock length. On my 2nd gen I have stock length Rancho arms with 2. 5" springs and run 35's on both. Neither rub on the fenders

It all depends on the backspacing of the wheels if it will rub or not. It doesn't rub a ton, but enough to annoy me :)

im making the same thing right now, but im making them 4' long with poly joints. im using black pipe i think its sch 40. 2" dia. for the stock mounts i couldnt say. i belive you just need lower ones. try and give top gun customs a call and pick there brains 1 877 674 9362
