I just joined the club - 2001 ext-cab. 6 speed(high out put), long bed sport. 57,000 miles good deal and a great truck,
HOWEVER the dealership is "offering" and extended service plan. Basically any SAE cert. shop, $100. 00 Co-pay per visit, $1,500 right now at time of sale, and it covers most all the drivetrain engine, trans, transfer, axels, fuel system, steering, electrical and air. Now I've always done my own work on all my trucks cars and tractors and plan to do so on the new Dodge. And I NEVER purchased and extended warranty in my life but this does sound like a good deal. The company name is "First Extended Servive Corporation" Does anyone have any experience or advice??
I would only use this for major electrical or air or what about out on the road away from my shop and tools???
Thank you
