Extended Warranty, D/C or others?

I have a new Ram on order & am considering an extended warranty. Has anyone had any experience with other insurance companies? The dealer is pushing some company called Allied. Is Daimler Chrysler's the best for service & price? Anybody have one? Rog

I have the Dodge 7 year 100k $100 ded. warranty. I paid $1995 as part of the purchase price. A word of caution about 3rd party warranties: I had a Warranty Gold policy on a car that we had and the underwriting company went backrupt. I was left w/o the extended warranty, but Warranty Gold continued to sell policies using a different underwriter. The OEM warranty will be around as long as the manufacturer is in business. The Dodge extended warranty also improves the standard 3/36 warranty with loaner car, etc.

I would stick with the D/C extended warranty. Have used it a couple of times & never had any problems.
