I have a 2002 with the fold in extended factory mirrors that have the small convex in the upper corners. I want to buy a cargo trailer but not sure as to the 105 width or the 96. I had a 7x16 trl and had to rely on the small convex mirrors most of the time. With a wider box it sure appears that the factory extended mirrors aren't going to cut it, anyone know of a different mirror set up or are there accessory mirrors that can be had that are removable when not towing the wide body cargo trailers? Tom L.

I have factory tow mirrors on my truck and tow my 8'6" wide 30' gooseneck all the time without any problems being able to see when the mirrors are "up".

Maybe that's your problem. When my Mopar towing mirrors are in the towing position the small convex mirrors are in the lower corners.

Tom L, it doesn't sound like your using the "towing extension" of your mirrors. All the mirrors "fold" in against the door, but on the towing mirrors if you push up on the bottom inside corner of the mirror, they fold up to extend the mirror for towing. Excuse me if you know this, but you would be surprised at how many don't know this.

Mirrors do what???

I guess I missed that in the 200 something page owners manual. I'll be doing some reading you can be sure! I thought since the little convex mirror was on the outside upper corner that was as far out as I had for rear viewing. These mirrors have to be folded in, found that out the hard way the first time through a new style brushless car wash. Thanks for the input guys. Tom
