I was wondering if you guys had any recommendations as far as adding Cab Lights to a truck that di not come with cab lights installed.

Install tips, brands, etc.

Thanks in advance! :)

I would buy a set thru Geno's Garagehttp://www.genosgarage.com

Help support TDR. I would find a good electrical shop in your area and have them install them. I don't know where you are located so I can't recommend any one here. Unless you are in Mexifornia aka Taxifornia.

Ive seen a few different styles but I still like the factory ones the most, as far as installing them the hardest part is getting the power wire down to the switch,( they ground through the mounting screws)

Another option if the gen 1 lights are too pricey by the time you add them up, can also do Gen 2 lights. They look decent on a Gen 1. My truck didnt come with cab lights so I used the Mopar gen 2 template, centered, drilled, installed, and wired. Took about a day.

RS looks slick. Who did you use for a retailer?

I noticed Geno's has replacement lenses but I didn't see any full sets

Recon's are nice, how do their sets conform to the cab

Thanks guys

I actually ordered the full Mopar kit from my dealer when I did it.

They may not have the set listed but they do have them.

Not much personal experience with Recon but I wanted the OEM look and quality so I never considered them. You would be amazed how many have no clue they are 2nd gen lights.

I followed that link last night and ordered an OE cab clearance lamp housing. Been looking for one for a while since one of mine is cracked. Got an E-mail message today that said my order was cancelled; the part is discontinued. Bummer.

That was through the the Dodge Parts Center. I'm sure that Geno's can follow through with the lenses. I should order a set of lenses too while they're available.
