The problem you are having I hear regularly. The regulator's made today are only 4 amp at best. In the old days we made both 4 and 7.5 amp regulators. The 4 went on cars and trucks with 60 amp or less alternators . The 7.5 went on cars/trucks with 100/117 amp alternators. All of those regulators are discontinued from Chrysler. Due to this I had made some 8 amp regulators to solve the problem. Mine have a voltage adjustment on them as well. call me if you would like one

Mopar 7.5amp rated regulator part # P4529794 is what I use from a stock 50/120amp alternator all the way up to a 120amp idle/220amp max load alternator - they work great.
There are 7.5-10amp rated Transpo c8313 VRs available but I haven't had any luck with this Chinesium built unit they currently put out; the "adjustable" regulator screw is flaky at best.

I am well aware of the P4529794 . It was offered threw our performance division. The part was released back in the 1970's . It was designed for high rpm drag race engines. It is NOT for street cars ! It will not keep the battery properly charged at low rpm. Your battery will run dead when using an electric snow plow or winch for vary long.. I also am well aware of the "transpo" c8313. Yes it is junk ! That is why I some made . Mine do work quite well. I will NOT be making any more of them when these run out. I am reaching the end. Not sure how much longer I will last.
Not much point in making more parts than I will be around to use or sell .

I am sure your VRs work.

However - I use the P4529794 on 3 different trucks, and have installed several more on other trucks.

They keep various AGM, AGM+ and flooded batteries charged up just fine on the 3 trucks, including short winter trips with grid heaters, Webastos, heated lens headlamps, and a logging winch. None of the above 3 trucks has a battery under 12.8v state of charge the next day.
