Could the factory wastegate on a hx-35 be used on a set of twins or do you have to use and external? I am going to be running and hx-35/14 with and ht3b/26. What is the down side to doing this? I would like to eventually like to go to an external wastegate but right now money is not permitting it at this time.

I am running the stock waste gate also ran with the externalgate on the dyno did not any realy big diffance. just make sure to open the wastgate up to around 1 inch and both banks of the exhaust George

I'm with George, the OEM gate is ok. The only thing I have heard is that it may not bypass enough air in stock form. This can be corrected.

George & Cooker long time no see. How the heck are you guys doing? What can I do to make the stock wastegate flow more?? Open the hole up some?? I am open to any suggestions. I have two hx-35 I can work with.

been good how have you been

open it up with a one inch drill bit some go inch and a 1/8 and drill all the way down thought the splitter George

I don't think it is necessary to drill the "splitter" out to 1" A smaller hole should get the job done. At least from what I have seen on other TT setups. What do you think George?

Sounds good to me thanks guys.

I have been good. My dad still talks about the seat at macomb! Are you going to be at munci this year?? I am hoping that I will make it. Maybe I'll get to see the Little Cummins Express! Take it easy hope to see you guys in the future.

Thanks Again.
