Is there a procedure to obtain extra keys without paying Dodge $55. 00 +

If you have the "chip" key then that is the only solution I know of. You can have a key made anywhere that will unlock the door but it won't start it.

You can get a key on ebay for about $6. 00 and use your owners manual instruction to program another key for $0. 00 real easy ,takes about 5 min.

Did they change something? I had keys made for my truck. Work with locks and ignition.

Go to your local locksmith, some of the newer vehicles you have to use 2 keys to program, and they usually give you only one. Some vehicles you can program new keys with just 1 other key. Your owners manual should tell you which one you have, otherwise the locksmith can tell you.

The 05's have a computer chip key. Apparently this type is availiable on ebay? I shall search out your suggestions! Thanks guys
