I had my exaust manifold done(extrude hone and gasket match)- I was very impressed. I am in the process of getting my head extrude honed as it is getting o-ringed with a valve job. I will also get my turbo done when I get twins. After the manifold was honed I put it against a stock one, the inside was total smooth and the collector area was opened up quite a bit, I notice quicker spool up and egt's went down a little bit. Getting the exaust housing done reduces back pressure increasing effiency for a faster spool up and lower egt's.

boydo...

If you don't mind my asking, how much did it cost to EH your ATS manifold (from your profile, I assume that's what it is)?

How do we find who does this in the U. S. ?

TIA

I had some extrude honed stuff done on my street car back in the day, head, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, and turbine housing. I was thinking the same thing about extrude honing the head, exhaust manifold, turbine housing, and intake horn. It is very expensive.

I had mine done in Edmonton, it cost about $350 cdn. Turbo exaust housing costs about $450-550 cdn. I'm still waiting on a price for the head work. I'm not sure who does EH in your area but with a little shipping time Barry at N. A. D. P. does a good job.
