Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) EZ again

I put an Edge EZ on my 02 two weeks ago. Can't tell any difference. I pulled an 8000# trailer 1200 miles and did not see any difference over stock. Now what. do I need injectors? However I must say that stock is not bad. I like the fact that I can pass someone doing 70mph and gain speed going around them. I have been able to do that since I bought the truck. It even has done well in the mountains.

02, 2500, 4X4 with 11,000 miles. Waiting on gauges right now. EZ is only current mod.

Dave... There is a definate seat of the pants difference with an EZ. But do a 0 to 60 against a stop watch with it hooked up and not hooked up.



My EZ and elbow nocked a full two seconds off 0 - 60. The EZ by its self nocked off 1 second.



If you don't clock a difference I would see about having it replaced.

I could sure tell when I put mine on. I can easily slip the converter if I'm not carefull. I think I would send the box back and get another. If you can't tell the difference is can't be working.

When I put in my EZ I could tell the difference just backin it out of the garage. If you cant tell the difference driving, your EZ doesn"t work.

Just got the EZ installed 2 weeks ago on my 01. 5 auto

I was left speechless after the first run(with 5k trailer)

the power comes in like,RIGHT NOW!

but the thing that is the most impresive :the towing milage went up by about 5-6 mpg,as i dont have to be constanlty on the go pedal to be going 65 mph,I can do it now at 5-6 psi vs12-15 psi without the EZ... ... ... ... . the only thing I could think of is"why didnt it came from the factory like that?"... ... ... ... ... Joe

un-plug it and then re-plug it in. My goes out every now and then and that is what I have to do to reset it until I send it back in. There is a noticeable difference when it is not working.

OK here it comes. ----------The problem I have with my EZ has been resolved. Power Edge says I should be able to tell the difference and if not they will replace the box. They are sending me anothe one. I will let you know if there is an improvement in the performance. The thing is, Power Edge has stood behind the product.
