EZ and Colorado E-test

Has anyone had their truck emission tested here in Colorado while the EZ was on it?
Did it pass?

I guess I'll answer my own question. I went ahead and had it done,and it passed with flying colors. The highest reading was a 10. I just didnt want to deal with taking it on and off.

Don't have diesel emissions tests here. Is it strictly an opacity test of the exhaust? What are the normal ranges and upper limits?

when I read the question this morning I didn't answer because I was wondering why someone would do the test witout first removing the box since it only takes less than 5 minutes...

In Colorado the test is suposed to done as follows. On the Dyno in direct gear full throttle lug down to 60 mph, 50mph, and then 40mph, opacty is read after it stabeilizes at each speed. Max opacty can't exceed 20% on a Turbocharged engine. Automatic transmissions can down shift one time during the test.

Buy the way they are supposed to do a visual pre inspection of the engine, tampering with the electronic engine controls is an automatic failure, as is tampering if oem equiped with, catalist trap, egr, pump seals, pcv system

They were well aware of the EZ. They sell Banks,and BD performance parts. Bob,I didnt take it off,because I feel that if it passed with it on,I would'nt have to worry if a road side inspection was done. I guess the BD Plug-n-Power will also pass with no problem.
My dealer is also well aware of my EZ,and they haven't given me any grief either.
